Or rather, El Nido captured us. Remember that this fledgling wanderer vowed in a past article: Let this be my vow – “John will reach El Nido this year!” Well, I did. Or, errr… I got married first, then we headed for El Nido, Palawan. This is me photoblogging that experience, or attempting to do [...]

Silangang Nayon Park & Restaurant is a tucked inside the town of Pagbilao in Quezon province. Located about 8 kilometers away from the main road, the winding road that leads to Silangang Nayon intrigues a first time visitor as to what possible gem of a destination could be waiting at the end of this seemingly remote location. Finally, the Silangang Nayon Park and Restaurant revealed itself – a grand yet relaxed destination based on native and nature themes – serving fresh food, fresh country breeze, and fantastic sights.
Pagbilao town is 30 minutes away from Lucena City. We did not see much of Pagbilao but apparently it is a 1st class municipality. The Pagbilao Power Plant is noted to be the largest power plant stations (Wikipedia) in the country – true enough, at night – the Pagbilao power plant against the dark black sky evoked a sci-fi scene not unlike those shown on X-files and similar movies.
